Allie Duzett – Divorce Healing Series

Healing From Divorce is a 6-week series designed to help you work through and heal from the trauma of divorce.

Because let’s be real: no one gets married thinking they are going to be getting a divorce. This is a traumatic experience for virtually everyone who experiences it.

In this series, we work through a marriage and divorce’s worth of trauma in 6 weeks.

This is the structure of it:

WEEK 1: BETRAYAL. In this session we cover issues relating to betrayal of all kinds: the betrayal of the spouse, of God/the Divine and the Universe, of parents, friends, family that you thought would be there but weren’t… the betrayal of yourself. Everything involving betrayal plus divorce, we’re working through it.

WEEK 2: ABUSE. In this session we will be working through the emotional aftermath of abuse, including financial abuse, spiritual abuse, religious abuse, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and emotional abuse.

WEEK 3: DATING AGAIN. SO many people report that after their divorce, they are terrified to date again. This session works on issues surrounding dating and feeling safe to be vulnerable again. How can you let someone else into your life when the last time you did that, it failed? We will dig deep into the issues surrounding romantic vulnerability and let them go.

WEEK 4: CHILDREN, CREATIVITY, LEGACY. This is about more than “just” kids. In astrology, the house governing children is also the house of all things creative, and that’s what we’re working on here. Custody issues and mom guilt, but also issues relating to all stunted and wounded creativity and regrets due to divorce. You do not need to have children to benefit from this session. Children are symbolic of everything we create, the creations of our souls. We will be working on healing the damage that has been done to and surrounding the creations of our souls.

WEEK 5: FINANCES AND LEGALITIES. Divorce can be a wrecking ball straight to the emotions, and even the physical body… but let’s not forget the wallet. This week we’ll be working on finances in particular, as well as the energy surrounding court experiences of all kinds.

WEEK 6: TRUSTING YOURSELF. After divorce, how can you trust yourself again?? This is a big question and a heartbreaking question. In this final week we’ll be working on issues surrounding self-trust, so you can step forward into living your best life.

Each of these modules also comes with homework. The homework varies from week to week. It’s mostly introspection, but also includes some meditation, some scribbling, some journaling, and so forth. If that sounds like it’s too much for where you’re at in your journey, that’s okay. You don’t HAVE to do it. Since you’ll have lifetime access to this series, you can come back and do the homework at a later time.

Every time I look through the prep material for these sessions, I think–grab the Kleenex!! We’re all gonna CRY!!!

But that is a great thing because we have to get these big emotions out.

My intention is that all participants will be able to work through their residual trauma from divorce, and feel completely free and uninhibited from stepping forward into freedom and peace.

This series is primarily for people who have gone through divorce personally, although it may also be helpful for people who have divorce in their family line, if you feel called to clear this trauma generationally.

These sessions will be taking place every Wednesday evening from 6 – 7:30 PM Mountain Time from October 6 – November 10. You do not have to be there live.
